All Positive Dyslexia assessors hold current APC (Assessment Practising Certificate) qualifications and full DBS checks. Our nationally based team ensures quick turnaround times across the UK.
What makes our assessors qualified?
Level 4 OCN Accredited
All assessors hold higher education knowledge with advanced skills equivalent to HNC or first-year undergraduate level.
DBS Checked
Every associate assessor holds a full DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, ensuring the safety of all clients including children.
AMBDA Qualified
Many of our assessors hold AMBDA (Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association) status, demonstrating the highest level of specialist expertise.

Re-assessment mentoring services
Mentoring services are available for assessors working in isolation to prepare for APC renewal. This includes discussing new report formats and reviewing updated guidance from SASC.
