No, OCN registration is not mandatory. However, it is recommended as it provides formal accreditation for your learning and is valuable for professional development.
What is APEL?
APEL stands for Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning. If you hold a Level 7 qualification and have experience assessing adults, you may be eligible for APEL, which can reduce the number of sessions required.
Can I just do the first session for general awareness?
Yes, Session 1 can be taken as a standalone awareness session. This is a great option if you want an introduction to dyslexia in the workplace without committing to the full course.
